But we were something alright
You were more than a page in the story of my life
More than a passage
When I'm older and look back
Whole chapters will be written for and after you
Hell, you were woven into every page
From the beginning to the middle
Too bad you didn't make it to the end though
Because my story's not done
But the inkwell with your name on it has run dry
And I still have pages to fill
